week 2 special features

Fiona Harrison

Fiona Harrison has a passion for the 1940s and regularly performs songs from this era in authentic military uniforms and glamorous evening gowns.

When she says "That'll do is never good enough" she means it. Unlike some entertainers who claim to specialise in this field, Fiona takes extreme care to ensure that every detail is as authentic as possible and that she is correctly turned out.

When in uniform, her shoulder-length hair is neatly rolled up off the collar, and shoes and all brasses are gleaming. When wearing an evening gown her accessories and colour co-ordination must be spot on for the 1940s - including the colour of her lipstick...

On stage, her repertoire is as extensive as anyone you are likely to meet - and her presentation is extremely entertaining.
